At Fly Factor, safety is our first priority. Many hours of research have gone into finding the best and the safest equipment for the rigging points. Here are some of the details about the equipment that will be supporting participants during class. All equipment has been professionally installed and tested!
I Beam Clamps
The clamps installed on the I beams are made to fit exactly the width of the beam. With a load capacity of 500 lbs and maximum breaking strength of 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg).
Caribiners
The caribiners we use are rated at 12kN (kiloNewton). This means that they can handle 2,697 lbs.
Daisy Chains
Each daisy chain in the rigging has a maximum breaking strength of 5,600 lbs.
Swivel/Gimbal Ring
Each gimbal ring is rated at 30kN and is designed for both static and dynamic load bearing situations. This translates to 7,868 lbf (pound force).
